Physics 108 - Crayon Physics

1. Download and install IrfanView. Watch this flash movie if you have any problems or questions.

2. Load your favorite website in a web browser.
Press "Alt" and "Print Screen" at the same time on your keyboard. This will capture an image of the open window (i.e. the web browser with your favorite website).

3. Run Infanview and hit Ctrl-V to paste your image into IrfanView. Then select "File -> Save As" from the Irfanview menu.
Select "GIF - Compuserve GIF" as the file type and use "Yourlastname-Yourfirstname-1.GIF" as the file name and save this file to your desktop. This is image #1.

4. Now upload image #1 from your desktop.
Important: To get credit this must be an image that is different from any of your classmates. The image must be unique.

5. Download Crayon.ZIP. Extract the contents of this file onto your desktop. This will create a Crayon directory in which contains the file Crayon.exe.

6. Run Crayon.EXE and complete each task for the 5 levels. [Hints]
Important: On the last screen you will see a rock that says "The End". You must then add 7 addtional shapes to the last screen to make your work unique. Then press "Alt" and "Print Screen" to capture and image of your unique arrangement. The "The End" rock must remain on the platform and appear in your image.

7. Now upload image #2 from your desktop.
Important: To get credit this must be an image that is different from any of your classmates. The image must be unique.
