Process Engineer - Temple-Inland

Process Engineer - Temple-Inland has an opening at its Diboll Lumber Operation for a Process Engineer who will monitor the conversion of logs to quality dimension lumber and provide technical expertise in lumber grading and merchandizing. This position is responsible for facilitating Quality Improvement Projects to assure maximum production of optimal products. Responsibilities: *Monitor equipment for accuracy, value and yield. *Provide oversight and implementation of the Lumber Grading. *Process to maximize market potential. *Perform process checks and process studies. *Maintain calibration of process equipment to assure standards are met. *Assist in monthly inventory/report. *Perform process improvement studies including data collection/analysis, implementation of improvement plans, developing control procedures. *Provide supervisory relief when needed. Prefer a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering Technology, Ag Systems Manage! ment, Forest Products, Business or related.
